I don't think he's the guy.... but there is simply too many talented players underperforming under this regime... something is amiss, and it goes way beyond Keenum, or K's dropped pass, or the walls in front of Gurley, or one WR crop after another coming up short... etc etc etc.
I said it in another post. But. IMO? If they can't run the ball nothing else will work well enough to regularly win.
I really don't think it's anything else. If they can't run, this offense CAN win some games passing, but not consistently enough. They have defense (with a lapse or 2 like Detroit) and not a bad passing game, in most games anyway (though it was stalled for 3 quarters today). (Even given that, if GZ hits his FGs they win.)
But if they can't run the ball none of that is enough.
I won't repeat a post I already wrote but I go into more detail here fwiw: [

I do agree that if they ran the ball well, they would be a winning football team right now, even with Keenum at QB.
I guarantee you, that if you can run the ball, stop the run and have superior Special teams, you will have a winning record. That being said, play makers and great QB play take you over the top.
Snisher can't even field a team that wins. It's obvious that this team lacks good coaching as well as talent evaluation. Like you said, if they could run the ball they would be a winning team right now given the way the D has played.
