Norv Turner, renowned veteran OC with many successes to his credit. Can't agree with the old school defense oriented coach on "how to fix it". Meaning, Norv has not been running the offense he has wanted to run.
Good guy. Been an HC. Understands that a public feud benefits no one. So he resigns.
This is as close as one can get to proof that Zimmer as HC thinks he knows more about offense than Norv Turner. Fat chance. And we have a similar situation with Fisher and Boras. Only Boras has proved that he can't put together a good offense at any level. I just wonder how much Fisher controls what Boras is allowed to do. How much Boras might do things differently, and coach differently, if Fisher didn't think he knows more about offense than his offensive co-ordinator.
