the club appeared capable of winning games with that defense, and using the vet QB gave them the best chance to let that happen.

however, the defense has had it's lapses, too.
yeah, if the team stumbles again here at home vs. the Panthers; the coach won't have the ironclad resolve to stay his hand on bringing in the rookie
