This is a guy that is a really god backup. Why would you dump him?

That's just really, really, really bad management and crappy as he11 use of your resources as a GM.

Backup QB's are very valuable and come at a price that isn't toxic to the cap.

Why would you give that away?

Dumb to do IMO.
