You know, after thinking about it for a minute, I have to say that it's not the worst idea I've heard all year.

Think about it...

Playoffs are no longer a realistic expectation.
Keenum's gonna be gone next year anyway with no compensation (is a comp pick a possibility?).
Could get Goff his needed experience to be better ready next year.
Who knows? Goff might be a Wentz/Prescott type immediate pleasant surprise.
There will be bumps in the road but I do think we'll also see more bang for our buck outta our various receivers.
Might be a positive ripple effect for Gurley and our OL, too.
We're already stuck at 31st ranked O, so how much worse could it be?

I guess I'm saying that I would listen carefully to any Jet offers. Or those of anyone else, either. Lol.
