Vinny said Fisher should be done and it would be a huge mistake to give him an extension. He said Kroenke should give Harbaugh whatever it takes. According to Vinny, the Rams need a guy who can develop Goff and he thinks Harbaugh would be good.
Roggin who likes Fisher said he thinks if Fisher wins the next 4 games then he will be back. Vinny said fine, cause there is no way they are winning the next 4 games. Then Roggin gave up and conceded to Vinny.
Then all 3 of them agreed that its time for a change. Vinny who was in London with the team said the players are feeling it. He said Tavon told him he's tired of the talk and wants to win. They players care, but they may not believe in this coaching staff anymore.
Vinny jumped on Fisher's statement that they didn't draft Greg Robinson to pass block 50 times a game. He said then it was a mistake to draft a guy at #2 overall if you thought pass blocking would be a problem. ED said he was talking to Jackie Slater about Greg Robinson. Slater said that all GRob needs is good coaching and that he could do it.
They all agreed that Keenum should not be starting. ED said he thinks Mannion should play if Goff isn't ready. Vinny disagreed and said Mannion isn't good enough, at best Mannion may develop into a borderline starter.
ED said he love his team and wants them to win, but they are a mediocre team.
Vinny said that Fisher did put together some good pieces for this team and did a good job with the move, but its clear now that Fisher should not be the guy going forward.
Find it funny that the guy who is "tired about the talk and just wants to win" seems to be the one that does the most talking. And had perhaps the biggest reason why we lost yesterday bounce off his hands.
