As a long-time Ram fan, it's always my goal to see them in the postseason and to win the big one. That's the goal for nearly everyone I suppose. That doesn't appear to be an option under Jeff Fisher, so I thought what are secondary goals one could root for to keep it interesting, or to make even losses seem less empty. Here's what I've got, and feel free to add yours:
1. Fisher breaking the NFL record for most losses by a head coach. He's earned that distinction, and he should attain that this season. Go Fisher! (sarcasm)
2. Aaron Donald getting proper recognition and making his second pro bowl. His stats will likely be down since he's doubled up, but he certainly deserves it.
3. Tavon returning a punt for a TD, always a possibility even in a losing cause.
4. Josh Forrest...he's fun to watch and maybe a future star.
I'll stop there, but I need things other than victories to make the Rams worth watching. If Fisher's contract is extended, then victories just aren't in the cards. Maybe a nearly empty Coliseum in the weeks ahead will make Kroenke do the right thing.
