Agreed.
1. I too felt they should have went for it on 4th and goal.
2. Yes, the fake punt was not only stupid but its not the type of fake that should have been run. Hekker passing the ball would have been a much better option but the idea of faking the punt at that time was just bad.
3. Keenum isn't the first QB to throw a pick 6 in a game. He threw one against Tampa and the Rams over came it.
You fail to mention that the drive that led to the field goal and the 23-19 score was actually a damn good drive.
Rams just won 3 in a row. Two on the road and two of those victories against recognized Super Bowl contenders. Lets not fool ourselves either.
Rams were playing short handed against Buffalo on defense and still adjusted and pretty much shut the Bills down in the 2nd half until Keenums pick 6.
My feeling is this. The Rams bounced back very well after the loss to the 49ers against a damn good Seahawks team. I expect them to bounce back again and I would be disappointed if they are not 4-2 come next Sunday night.
That being said if they are 4-3 after the Giants game I think that is not too bad at the midway point.
