plus, it would give TA just a second or two extra which =s an extra yard or two in space...with which to do his thang.
And the Rams have had very good success being aggressive and faking ST plays. imo

The timing of the call can be debated for being to predictable...but I liked the call. I DO NOT think we could have stopped McCoy and gotten the ball back...not with 3/4s of our DL out and with how well McCoy was running on us that day. Also, to fake a punt on yer own 23yd line is quite the opposite to conservative/predicable for most HCs I think. Sure, every team will be ready for fakes with us cuz we do it a few times every year. Anyway, I'm good with the call.

Tyrod & CK both missed a would-be deep TD pass.....so that's a wash in my eyes.
What lost the game for us was a Pick-6 and Gurley's fumble(1 of 2 irrc)...which gave NY 14pts and the game.
That Pick 6 was a really poor - rounded off route by Cooper and CK didn't throw it outside enough anyway allowing the CB to jump it.
