I've yet to read or hear a local reporter ask Fisher the following:

"Isn't it time to consider starting Goff considering Keenum's struggles?"

Except of course there's this problem.

The "extent" of CK;s struggles is a value judgment. Plus of course 1 game with a bad turnover and bad outcome out of 4 recent games after 3 wins is not necessarily going to convince a coach who would know far more than any onlooker about what was real. Let's say for example that CK is capable of reading important sight adjustments where a receiver varies his route depending on what the defense shows. And the coach also knows that Goff is still struggling with that kind of knowledge and is still at the thinking not acting stage. Let's put it this way. In the last 2 years Fisher has benched 3 qbs. Hill, then Davis, then Foles. He is not shy about it. So why would we act like he has some kind of blindness only this supremely insightful reporter could shake him out of with a well placed question? That sounds like the basis of a bad tv episode. Billy Kidd, star reporter. Mayor do you grasp the depth of your corruption? Mayor: sob.

And they have asked him several times when Goff would start. It happened in a few different press conferences since the season started and in every radio interview.
