I say wait just because I want him to have the best possible chance to succeed and he appeared completely overwhelmed in the preseason. Better to err on the side of caution to minimize the possibility of another David Carr.
How about a prior issue more important than any of those...um...considerations.
Where did Fisher say "Goff is ready." Quote it. Quote the whole context too if there IS a quote, because often in the heat of posting people take things completely out of context and ignore their real meaning.
I haven';t seen it.
