Keenum deserves his share of the criticism. But in fact the previous 2 games they came from behind to win both times, and both times when behind they hit on big plays downfield
According to PFF the Rams are 4th in the league on passing plays of 30 yards or more. That includes plays when they were behind (and on the road.) Both of those wins were come from behind wins.
BUT you can't put it ALL on Keenum. Meaning, you can't put the whole game on his back and ask him to do it alone. That's true I think.
I could be misremembering, but I thought in the come back win against Arizona last week, the offense started 20 yards from the end zone due to Austin's huge return and the 15 yard penalty. That particular come back didn't involve big plays downfield.
That said, I agree with you somewhat. My issues with Keenum have nothing to do with his supposed inability to throw deep.
