I don't think the 3-1 is a mirage.
In terms of their attitude, Fisher has them believing they can win and now that they are doing it, I think it will carry over. Usually when you see a young team get hot they stay hot.
The Rams are a hungry team and they are extremely physical on defense. That goes a long way.
Keenum doesn't look pretty, but the team believes in him now. And it appears that Boras does too as he's giving him more to do, probably out of necessity as much as confidence in him.
I can be very critical of this team, but if there is good reason to change my view I do. It will be interesting to see how long it takes all the 7-9 guys to change their views as well.
