I keep reading this noodle arm comment by some on this board and other boards and frankly the label is not warranted.

Grits

Not only is it not warranted cause he is a leader. The noodle-arm thing leads some people to actually deny the evidence of numbers and their own eyes in declaring the Rams don't have a long ball.

Well yes they do and it was there last year too.

Keenum may not have the arm strength you like (which isn't the same as saying he's a noodle arm) but throwing long is not a matter of just arm strength. Arm strength helps but you also need accuracy, touch, timing, anticipation, and the eyes and head to pull the trigger (decision making).

Rams have had stronger armed qbs (Boller, for example) who were not good long.

Keenum's play shows that the Rams have a long game, his numbers show it too.

But there was this PERCEPTION by some he doesn't have that, and it got in the way of some people SEEING it.
