I got zero-problems giving chances to druggies (as long as the contract makes it a 'no-lose' situation). I do have a problem signing 'violent' predator types. Lawrence Philips types. Just say no, to them types.

No domestic violence, sexual assault, etc.

I see zero harm in bringing him in for an interview and workout. Felt the same way about RG3. And I've never been a believer in "injury prone." I think injuries are flukes, with rare exceptions . . . and entirely contingent on place and time. IMO, just because a player gets hurt over there, on that team, doesn't mean he would have been hurt on the Rams, and vice versa.


Bad flukes. And they can happen to any player.
