....they get trucked by ARI and revert back to the team that has been below average for over a decade and during Fisher's whole regime.
This is a very important game...
To me,
last week was 'the' game that sets the tone for the season. Coming off a huge divisional game, playing a mediocre team on the road, and then having the D play 90 plays which is 1 1/2 games of plays in the heat. After divisional wins against playoff opponents, has a Fisher-Ram team ever won the next week? Ever? Well, we did...and that was a desparate Buc team.
I am ok with them 'resting' up people like Donald and Gurley as long as they win the next 3 against beatable opponents---and then we are 5-2. That I think is very possible. My opinion is frequently wrong says my wife, so that applies to the Rams, too
We were plays away from being 0-3 this year. We aren't, and that says a lot about the improvement of the team, however, we are
playing a playoff team with the #1 O last year, and we
are and were #32 then and now Offense. The odds on winning a 2nd road game are very low anyway. Arians is as mad as he has been since 2013. I think this will be the game of the year for the Cards----they lose and they are 1-3. If this game is even close I will, I will, uh, I don't know....do something stupid (that's easy!)
WHen Palmer goes down in the first quarter, then we have a chance. When Goff gets going and he has 8-10 games under his belt, then I think maybe we can win
this type if divisional game in the lion's den.
