Why is Fisher trying to play games with the media on this...he knows who the number two QB is...I don't get it?

Why not do the right thing and just announce Jared will be the #2 going forward until he is ready to be the starter.

Jerking him like this in the media is odd to say the least.

HE'S not being jerked. He knows where he stands...they would have told him already if he were dressing or inactive.

Of course they are, but doing this just gives that media more crap to pile on Jared with.... "Jeeez, Goff can't even keep his back up job" is the kinda bs you're gonna hear on the radio and TV and message boards. Would kill him to just show some confidence in the kid and make the announcement instead of jerking with the media?
