I have a completely different opinion...

September 23, 2016 06:13AM
this is related to what is sometimes brought up, rarely but sometimes - hoping a team loses a star player so that victory might be easier... I NEVER root for that. I really, truly, honestly, want to beat teams when they are 'at their best'... DESPITE 'injuries being part of the game'. Duh.

If Usain Bolt was in an accident and broke both his legs and was in a full body cast I could beat him in the 100... wouldn't really make me all warm and fuzzy and cocky to do so, however.

I want Bellicheat to go down, as much as anyone... in fact, him retiring on top of the world followed by the demolition of the Lincoln Memorial to make room for his memorial, and allowing someone else to win - is the WORST thing I can imagine happening. I want him to lose ON THE FIELD, doing what he does best AT his best.

But that's just me. beer2
