It reminds me of being back in High School when I got my SAT results. I got an 800 in Math and a 580 in Verbal. My dad was livid, focusing only on the negative, the Verbal score, the typical emotional overreacting Italian dad. His response was something like, I bet you don't get into any school now, how do you like them apples? And all right, you got an 800 in math, you're supposed to get that, big deal.

SAT results max? Yours were much higher than mine grrrrr. Now I really feel silly for ever choosing Goffenomics as a study course. No wonder I'm failing

So here we are getting overreactions to Goff's limited performance a few months into being a pro. I'm already seeing statements that he won't be a Ram in a year or two, or some such extreme shock talk.

Maybe Goff is taking a little longer than the Rams had hoped, though I still question the support system from the coaching staff. But the overreaction is based on immediate gratification and set in pure panic mode. The media's response to all this it is typically passive-aggressive. They preface everything they say. I read and hear things like, obviously its way too early to say if Goff is a bust. (Well, no kidding.) Then they go onto say how they can draw conclusions based on a couple of months performance adapting to a totally new system.

Goff taking a little longer? C'mon max they traded the world and 2 galaxies all the way up to #1 for this sun to rise in the south and set in the north

My money is still on Goff to be a fine QB, whether it's this year or a couple of years down the road. Goff is gonna be the Rams QB for a long time.
