Good article

Good article. Makes a lot of sense. I was saying this in my preference for Wentz back before the draft. Bucky Brooks and everyone else was pushing Goff.
Naturally the Rams took the least ready guy but, There is a matter of ceiling as well.

Meaning I think and believe from what I saw at the practices I attended and the games this summer that Jared Goff will be fine. I've seen him take snaps from under center many times at the camp sessions I attended. He handled it very well. He worked from under center a lot during the pre-season games when he was in there. His one fumbled snap came in shotgun formation when he didn't look the ball all the way into his hands. His other fumble came when he stumbled and came down on the ball and it squirted out of his hand.

I've seen him make good reads and plays. But like Carr said in his article he's a rookie and he's going to make mistakes. He and Wentz both.

I think we are going to find that both Goff and Wentz were good choices.

Wentz is definitely more of a Fisher type QB

There's not too much ANY coach can do to help QBs on their backs.
