First he's not going to fire a coach early in the season, especially this one.
And second an extension does not mean he's unfireable. There will be an end of the year eval, there always is.
The previous 2 years, I submit, had conditions built into them that made 7-9 something of an achievement.
If he doesn't have those same conditions in 2016, then, the judgment will probably take that into account.
The thing about fisher:
Even if he had to deal with "conditions" ( and I assume you refer to the QB position) the last two seasons his team comes out flat and unprepared, uninterested and unmotivated way too often
They pick up penalties en masse regularly, they Are an undisziplined team ever since he took over
The WR unit is the worst in the league for years now, and fisher always neglected it deliberately
You just can not pin everything wrong with this team on the QB position
