Good thoughts. True, it couldn't have been much worse. You can't score less than zero. And getting beat by 4 TDs is a shellacking. Any other Pro HC and nearly any non-pro could do no worse.
As far as Goff is concerned, he could do much worse. Like 4 Ints (2 pick 6's) and sack fumble and a bad injury. Glad he wasn't a part of it and glad we suffered through no major injuries during the embarrassment. I want Goff to play when he's really ready. It's like making a delicious chicken meal with the beat ingredients but undercooking it and your guests get salmonella. What's the point?
Right now we have 3 elite players, TG, AD and Hekker. Hoffman should be our 4th and his position is the most important one of the field. Patience Grasshopper.
