im not going to cry if fisher gets fired but i have a hard time believing that a guy who has been the HC of an nfl team for 20 years is in over his head. its almost impossible to believe. in order for this to be true, fisher must be the best con artist in the business as it seems that not only do nfl people like him quite a deal, but his players for the most part seem to really like him. if the guy is "in over his head" wouldnt players pick up on this? its too inconceivable to be true.
now if you want to say hes too stubborn to adapt, perhaps thats accurate. but youd think he hear more players grumble about it.
in addition, i think he can all agree that our wr are not that good so the inability to beat 1 on 1 coverage may also be accurate. but still to me, you need to take that chance more than they did as even the threat will open up some wholes for gurly.
idk about CK. he certainly looked awful on monday, but he has looked better in the past both with the rams and with other teams. he should be servicable until goff is ready. was monday a fluke?
that brings me back to play calling. i thought boras was going t be more dynamic but i thought it was pretty bad. but wtf do i know...
