I`m 100% sure of that.
If he sits too long, it may not be the best thing for his development, but if Fisher throws him into this crap with the protection & receivers continuing to suck, it will be the worse thing for his development. I already have serious doubts about him after seeing his body language in preseason.
If Fisher does feel like his job security is in jeopardy at some point this season, why would he give a rats ass about throwing him into the lions den at some point this season? Looking at the schedule, I`m seeing a 1-7 start at halfway point, 2-6 at best. He may just say screw it we cannot get any worse and throw him in. If I`m the owner and see this materializing, I`m going to put a stop to it and see to it the kid sits the season & until he hires a new head coach, preferably one that is passionate about working with young QB`s (Harbough, Gruden, Petersen, etc.)
