Sometimes the kick will be a few yards short of the goal line. I think you're better off returning it than letting it bounce around near the goal line. Certainly if you are near the back of the goal line it makes sense to take a knee.
BTW, Benny averaged over 27 yards per return last season.

Oh yeah SoCal...that is the kick I am trying to get....nice and high also short of the goal line or right at the goal line. Close enough to make the returner think about it.
