Was that it was obvious the entire playbook was open for him. He played like a veteran, was getting people in the right position, changing plays and running everything. He looked terrific in the two minute drill to end the first half. Remember when it took Bulger two years to get the no huddle, 2 minute drill package from Linehan? And Bradford similarly as a rookie?
He hit the short, medium and long stuff. He went to all areas of the field. He knew exactly what he was doing and mostly what the defense was doing out there. That's the stuff I look for from the young QB's. Yeah, executing all the throws is great, but not as much the first thing I'm looking for out of the gate. They didn't dumb anything down. Was really impressive.
Afraid he's going to get killed behind that O-line though. He's going to need to use all his understanding to keep that from happening, and probably some luck.
