As I watched both videos I was saying to myself ...can we stop with the pop-gun arm business. Lol
Count me as someone who believes that Keenum has a "noodle-arm." I've seen it (or its close friend, "inconsistent anticipation skills"
too many times. As a matter of fact, one or both were on display in the very highlights that were posted as receivers (through the grace of God, I know) got separation from defenders only to have to slow down to make a play on the ball. And, of course, receivers having to slow down increases the chances of defenders getting the opportunity to make their own play on the ball. This was seen earlier in the preseason against KC where Britt had the DB badly burned on a deep route. Keenum couldn't get enough azz into the throw (or he was late with it) forcing Britt to slow down and allowing the defender to catch up (and crash in) to him resulting in PI (but saving a would-be TD).
But that was then...and this is now.
I will gladly take back all of my "noodle-arm" beliefs of Case Keenum as soon as league DC's do. I suspect that they don't believe that he can beat them over the top or on intermediate routes.
I hope that Case makes me eat my words.
