just make a certain number of Vets(past age 27?)...not count against the cap.

As for the rookies lack of technique and lack of even training/whiteboarding/meeting coaches....
well, that needs to be addressed in a new CBA. It makes a watered down NFL and annihilates the middle class of NFL players.
It seems like a problem they can fix if they just sit and negotiate. Every team's coaching staff would be behind it...and I would think that would nudge the owners to the table....who want more wins.
