where a team must be it's own farm system to some degree.
Things change too fast for teams and just when you geta good mix...FA blows up the team again.
It creates this IMMEDIACY in the NFL for fans and smaller and smaller windows of timewhere all the pieces are finally together.
It seems no window is larger than 2-3yrs. I dunno, it's a bit depressing to me and I wish the NFL would allow larger rosters to let teams groom younger players over a year or two so the are ready for prime time.
I think changes will come towards addressing this.
