This is the week before the 1st regular season game. Goff had two bad plays in the Viking game that I think weighs on every ones mind. They happened back to back.

Okay, everyone has a bad day.

Lets also take into consideration a few things here.

1. Goff has had some really good moments in these 4 pre-season games including the opening drive this past Thursday. That pass to Marquez was a thing of beauty. On the run and accurate as hell with touch. The TD pass to Kenny Britt was a excellent back shoulder throw with a lot of zip on the ball.

2. Keep in mind that he did not play with the same group of players for the entire game either.

Eli Manning did not start for the friggen Giants either his rookie year until they were 5-2 and halfway through the schedule. And don't forget the Giants made a big draft day trade with the Chargers to get Eli.
