They draft a guy who doesn't have a history of taking snaps or complicated playcalls and they hand him the standard issue playbook, tell him good luck and then shake their heads at his failure. Maybe it's payback for the dorm fan incident. The nerve of that rookie!
They couldn't install a package for him to ease him into the league? A wrist band? Is our passing offense so complex and precious that they can't make allowances and make it more Goff friendly? I mean, it's not like they gave up most of 2 drafts to get him. It looks like they have thrown him into the deep end of the pool and stand silently by as he flails around and gasps for air.
Hopefully a new staff will come in next year and give this kid some hope at a career.
