First I don't know how anyone could arrive at any conclusions on units abilities based on very limited action in the preseason.
The Rams starters (whoever they are) on defense or the offensive line have not even played together in the preseason.
We just saw Rodger Scaffold get his butt whipped at right tackle, a position he won't even be playing when the season starts.
On defense who are the starting corners and safeties? Have you seen them play together much in the preseason?
The Rams defense played a Denver team that ran the ball 20 straight times, and basic plays at that.
On the 4th down missed attempt they ran a basic slow developing dive play.
Against the Chiefs the Rams offense faced a defense minu 3 of its all pro players, Berry, Hali and Houston.
On offense KC was w/o arguably the best back in the league.
We've seen nothing, absolutely to get a real read on anything about this team.
I just see how anyone could base anything tangible on what we've seen in preseason especially considering the lack of playing time given to the starters.
IMO nobody will know anything real about this team until atleast game 4 of the regular season.
Best,
Laram
