Goff was the best pure pocket passer in the draft. I think they got that right. The problem is the Rams don't have a #1 receiver and the rest can't hang on to the ball with any consistency whatsoever. In addition, I don't believe they have the coaching staff to take a very raw but super talented QB and get him ready for the NFL on Sunday's.
With a different coaching staff I am of the opinion that Goff would be starting and they would take advantage of his strengths. This regime takes squares and tries to fit them in round holes.
