The problem is that Austin, Cooper, and Spruce are all slot type receivers. There is no X if Britt went down. Quick is Britt's replacement if something ever happened to Britt. Also, Quick had a bad game on Saturday but Goff's first ball was tough because Goff got the ball out so fast that the normal timing and cadence was off. Quick still should have caught it, but he barely got his head around and the ball was on him. The second "drop" was on Quick, but again I think he needs to expect the ball quicker out of his break. Goff's passes are going to be getting there with more pace, and he has to learn this.

I think BQ is the most talented receiver on the team after Austin, but he is not going to make the team if he has another game like Saturday. It's too bad, he has all the tools to be a weapon in the league, but doesn't seem to have the head for it.
