What are the ramifications if the Rams cut some of the newly signed guys like Cody Sensabaugh?? or the resigned Brian Quick? I had high hopes for Quick but see the writing in the wall. I would like some of our less experienced but seemingly better DB's and WR's on the roster rather then marginal or under achieving players

Dead money if cut:

Sensabaugh - 5.6+ M dead money, no savings (they actually lose money)

Quick - 1.25 M dead money, 0.4+ M savings

Rams already have a huge dead money hit this year. If you add up Foles, Cook, Long, and Laurinaitis, it;s about 14 M. That's 6th worst in the league. But they can afford more since they are also about 6.8 M under the cap.

Next year, as of right not, they are (estimated) around 44 M under the cap. So honestly, it's not an issue. You don't want to have dead money like this but it's gone after this year (0 dead money for 2017 so far) and so the future is pretty unburdened. They're 8th in cap space for 2017 (that's assuming the cap goes up as expected).
