I see a lot of ASSUMPTIONS by the fans on what Fish wants. A lot of comments on Fisherball and they might be right, it's hard to say. This offense has never been a power offense though, in his four years as head coach. I don't know if that's because of the OL injuries, or because it took him 3 years to find his horse at RB.
But looking at Kendricks vs Higbee you do make a valid point. My guess is Kendricks starts but assuming Higbee can avoid getting dinged up he is probably going to become that player you just don't want to take off the field, and that means in non-12 personnel he'll end up playing ahead of Kendricks first in passing situations and then eventually taking the job.
It also goes back to wtf the offense is planning on being, philosophically speaking. But we never know, because nobody can nail Fish down on anything.
