Have to see a few more pre-season games but I'm hard pressed to see 7. Don't get the Marquez love. Maybe he's ok at special teams, but he's a bottom of roster talent. Quick - the guy should be gone, he's just taking up space, He's never going to be what we need. The sooner we get rid of him the sooner we can work on getting the guy he was supposed to be. Even at the high point of his 'career' he was mediocre at best.
Hope we can see more Spruce in preseason. He has limitations and showed well against 3rd string vanilla coverage, but seems to have some promise. Would like to see more Cooper too. Not sure why he's been annointed a 'top guy' by Jeff after his lone game action included 2 incompletetions. One a brutal drop, the other maybe good defense or maybe his inability to get inside position and shield the defender. Either way - not so exciting.
