My Coliseum Celebrity story, told before...

Mid-70's I had season tickets... but took a couple of guests so I gave my seats to two friends and I splurged and got seats dead on the 50 about half way up.

I always got there long before the gates opened and entered the second they did open. About an hour before the game started a 'celebrity', about three rows in front of me, and down, was standing up obviously trying to attract attention to himself. I don't remember who it was.. I remember it wasn't an "A" celebrity but his face was well known... by all, and at that time.

He continued to stand, and stand, and stand... blocking my view and several others. During player introductions he was still standing... and it was about then -

Someone from just behind me shouted, (and I can't remember exactly what but something like) - "Sit your sorry ass down". He added something sarcastic about his 'celebrity' status but today I can't remember exactly what. The response was that my section, from behind the celebrity, and some below, began applauding and cheering.

I've never been so proud of RAM FANS in all my life.
