I was replying in 'context' to GRITS... who was trying to say, (I think, anyway), that we shouldn't write off Keenum because of - - and here he gave stats as reasons.
Most of what I'm reading, I don't read all posts these days... ALL, maybe, have leaned positive about Keenum... as far as his effort, his heart, and even the chances of being successful while Goff gets his sea legs.
The only real difference in this issue, seems to me, is the chances Keenum can do that... not that he's the 'answer' or a 'bum'.
But allow me to go further out on this limb I'm crawling on.... from what I've seen I really do think Goff AND Mannion surpass Keenum somewhat quickly... and that beyond just the 'physical limitations' of Keenum which I think everyone agrees exist. Goff and Keenum both appear to me to have good awareness, in progress of course but seeming to me instinctive - I don't think Goff or Mannion at this time match up to Keenum in this regard - but it won't be long. - JamesJM
