Look, I agree with you that they have done well with UDFA and it is fun to see them come in and have some make the team and contribute. Or even be All-Pros like Hekker. So you won't get any arguments from me on the overall point of your post. I am glad there is an emphasis on UDFAs and I believe it is paying off.

But these rankings are just flawed.

SNISHER UDFA CANDIDATES IN 2016 DRAFT
This 2016 Draft.....I'm not sure if Snead & Fisher are getting better at their craft....
or whether the added allure living in Southern California over the Rust Belt Midwest has led to the plethora of fairly decently highly ranked (by most draftnik publications...but in this post I'll quote DraftScout.com rankings) 2016 NCAA candidates. Here's the 2016 crop of Snisher UDFAs along with the "Highest Round Predicted" per DraftScout draftniks:
Aaron Green...RB...5th Rounder
Marquez North...WR...6th Rounder
Nelson Spruce...WR...6th
Jordan Lomax....S....6th
Paul McRoberts...WR...6th
Ian Seau...DE/OLB....6th
Brandon Chubb...ILB...6th
Mike Jordan....CB/S...6th
Corey Littleton...OLB...7th
Brian Randolph...S...7th
Jordan Swindle...OT...7th
Total of 11 Snisher 2016 UDFAs ranked to be Drafted

As always, JMO.

None of those guys were drafted. Clearly those draft predictions were wrong and those draft "experts" were wrong. It's a simple as that.
