I seriously doubt that he has any respect for or feelings for STL and those players other than to make fans feel good and attract them.
In STL he did a little bit to bring in LA Rams players, but no more than Chip and Lucia.
What players is he bringing in? If they are addressing the team then I would say they are being brought in for some value to players. If they are walking on the field pregame and halftime that has nothing to do with the team, that's for fans.
