I believe it was Albert Breer on the Rich Eisen show, stated that Cousins starting point in negotiating a long term contract, was the equivalent of the 2 franchise tag years in guaranteed money for the first 2 years of the contract. The Skins saw that as too steep, and they will let it play out on a year to year basis, which if you stop and think about it, makes sense for both sides really. I wonder if this is similar to the Trujo negotiations....
