I understand them wanting to "grow the business". That said I would probably go into other markets where I felt I had a better chance of a foothold, like cities where the European league played. I'm not sure China is the right spot. I don't know how much homework they did and the allure of the largest nation in the world is strong. We will see..........I think it'll be like London games, fun because it's different and so people will go.
The point I was making is this. Kroenke would make less money because he won't get any of the revenue streams from the stadium, and that's a lot of money ........but that's incorrect I didn't pay enough attention to the date.
This game is set for 2018 so it isn't being played in his stadium. Probably why it was easy to agree to, he isn't making less he will make more. If it was in 2019 he wouldn't like it simply because parking, concessions, team store sales etc won't be there.
