It blows my mind. I just can't comprehend not watching my beloved Rams play every week regardless of how good or bad they are. It's easy to be a fan when everything is going great! When things go bad, that's the true test!
I am a fan through thick and thin not only when things are going well. I just am not "that guy". I watched every second of every game of some of the worst Rams football ever played including the 1-15 Spags debacle.
Maybe it's just my age and having grown up without being able to see the games at all except for when they would be Nationally televised. Sometimes the only parts of the game I could see were with Howard Cosell during the Half Time show on Monday night Football.
I appreciate that I can now see every game. Every play. Every week and I don't want to miss a thing. There is always something to analyze whether it's the game plan, coaching or the players. Maybe some unexpected player steps up and flashes. Maybe we see some new play calls.
I think with all the media and internet sites out there now for everyone at their fingertips it has lessened the desire to watch it live as much when things go bad.
Not me. I am not a "fair weather" fan. I watch even when nobody is watching!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
