Blinkscout Game 6 Panthers

Sorry I've been a tad absent ... vacation and previous to that extra work leading up ... not that I actually WANTED to write up the Cowboy game.

Maybe now we'll start to feel like underdogs again.


The Great

1) Ernest Jones. Great draft pick. Got him into the lineup with the right tools around him and he's showing out.

2) Alaric Jackson. This MAINLY because he was undrafted. I don't know how he was, he was a freshman AA and all conference left tackle four straight years (Wirfs played the right side). But here's to our front office doing due diligence.

3) How many players we get back after the bye.


The Good

4) Allen Robinson looking like Allen Robinson.

5) Getting Powell and Skow involved creatively.

6) Holding their offense to 3 points.

7) Darrell Henderson's effort to get first downs ... he's obviously taking this opportunity seriously.

8) Cooper Kupp not slowing down a bit.

9) Winning ugly while dealing with injuries. Healthy into the playoffs is all you need.


The Bad

10) Good thing it was the Panthers, man they're bad.

11) Letting McCaffrey get free multiple times when he's their only player.

12) Losing Boom. I was happy for him getting his shot.


The Ugly

13) Cam ... what on Earth happened? Ugh I have his freaking jersey.

14) Kolone. Seriously.


College

15) First off trying to do more here. I called the Tennessee win. They are the better team. Watch out for TCU.

16) I think I have Hendon Hooker/Bryce Young as the top QBs (which I never would have thought following him from VTech) with Levis an inch behind. I haven't seen Stroud yet this year but he was my #1 coming in. Besides that there is a MOUNTAIN of QB talent that should change the nature of backup situations across the league.

17) RB talent is ridiculous, so is TE. Dalton Kincaid on Utah is a target. At RB I don't even know where to start.

18) WR ... I may be nuts but the TCU kid Johnson reminds me of a faster, angrier, AJ Green. Has the best "first move" I've seen in a long time. Also I think high talent kids will make the 4th and 5th ... we should be shopping.

19) I'm not super enamored with the edge talent. Yet. A lot of "maybes" with inconsistent wins.

20) Interior O line looks to be strong. Many times with transferring players staying with coaches and thriving in new environments.

21) Ole Miss LSU this week. Texas OK st. ... Kansas Baylor and K State TCU if you get them.
