How will Rams decide those last 10 slots?
BTW, this thread is not about who gets most snaps during season, rather which players make those last few slots on the 53?
In no particular order here are my questions…
Does Perkins make it as 3rd QB? Hope not.
Funk or Ragas as 4th RB? Or do they just keep 3? Or pick up another team’s final cut? 4th RB seems an unsettled weak link on this team.
Do Rams go with just 8 OL players? Gulp… Hoping for 9 since I think they need Kolone for insurance.
All signs point toward keeping 8 WR’s (counting Powell). But will there be a surprise move here either up or down?
Will Rams really only keep 2 TE’s? Or will Roger Carter make the 53?
DL seems set, huh? Gonna be some tough cuts but the top 6 seem pretty obvious.
Hardy is in, but what about Brayden Thomas, Keir Thomas, Benton Whitley? All have shined in preseason and I assume can play on ST. I would HATE to cut any for fear they won’t make it through waivers.
Does Jake Hummel make it? He’s been a tackling machine this summer.
CB seems set. There will be 6 and we all know who they are. Some good players are gonna be snapped up by hungry teams in FA.
Safety seems set, too. There will be 5 and Yeast makes it.
Well, those are my ‘burning questions’. Who did I miss?
As an aside, I may do a future post about ‘pecking order’ on both WR’s and CB’s. I have some interesting thoughts on both that might surprise you.
