On Sunday against the New York Giants, the Los Angeles Rams will begin a three-game stretch against teams that are all well below .500. After taking on the Giants, they’ll then face the Lions and Texans before their schedule gets a bit tougher in Week 9.

It should come as no surprise that the Rams are heavily favored over New York, given the lack of talent and the injuries that the Giants have right now. According to Tipico Sportsbook, the Rams are 8.5-point favorites against the Giants, the second-largest spread of the week.


Experts are leaning heavily in Los Angeles’ direction for this one, too, with 99% of them picking the Rams to beat the Giants, according to NFL Pick Watch. That’s the highest percentage of the week, slightly ahead of the Chiefs (98%).

The spread narrows the gap between those picking the Rams and Giants. Of those who have submitted their picks, 77% are taking the Rams to cover the spread, which is still the largest percentage of the week despite the 8.5-point margin.

The Rams have won their last two meetings with the Giants, including a 51-17 victory back in 2017. They should win this one, too, it’s just a matter of by how many.
