Per the Pro Football Network NFL Cuts Tracker, the San Francisco 49ers have cut two running backs: Josh Hokit and Wayne Gallman II.
Hokit is a 6'1" 220 lb. RB out of Freno State who was an undrafted free agent signing by the 49ers a year ago. He recorded 0 stats in 2020.
Gallman is a 6'0" 210 lb RB out of Clemson who was drafted by the NY Giants in 2017. He put up 147 carries for 682 yards and six touchdowns in 2020 for the Giants. His PFF grade for last year is an impressive 71.1. He is also quite good at catching passes, hauling in 21 of 26 for 114 yards last year.
Gallman looks like a steal and he is out there on the waiver wire waiting for the Rams to submit a claim.
