Initially I was underwhelmed by this Rams draft but I now believe that was due to ignorance on my part. And I wasn’t the only one, that’s for sure.

After a month of study the Rams strategy seems much more clear and forward thinking if not downright logical.
Atwell and Jones got the lions share of the pub but I now believe that the Rams really got great value with their Day 3 picks. The more I learn, the more I like all of these kids. As we all know, Snead thrives on his mid to late round picks and this crop certainly seems no exception.
Might not be a single first year starter from this group on such a loaded roster, but the potential from so many of these players for meaningful snaps this year is certainly there. Future starters are likely and immediate turbocharging of ST seems to have been achieved.
I simply cannot wait to hear more about these kids from camp reporters and seeing them in the preseason games.
