I would think that they would tweak the roster rules a bit. Like adding a player or 2 to the 53, or perhaps not counting the 3rd QB towards the 53, or something along those lines. And to me they ought to add at least 2 for the game day 47(?). Again, there really is very little cost involved.
Everyone knows that the good teams don't play their players much in preseason, so subtracting a preseason game and adding a regular game is not an apples to apples exchange, especially for vets and starters.
Seems to me like unless there us something we don't know, the Union pretty easily caved on this.
